The deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia is a leader of Aam Admi Party and a educationist .He gained name and fame through Indian politics but unfortunately he involved in Delhi Excise Policy Scham 2022. Early life: Manish Sisodia born on 5th January 1972 in a Rajput family of Phagauta village in Hapur district of Utter Pradesh. His father was a public school teacher and mother is a house wife.
Married life :Manish Sisodia marriages Seema Sisodia and their son is Meer Sisodia. Manish Sisodia’s second wife is Nisha Singh, the counselor of Aam Admi Party.
Education: He was enrolled into the government school in his village. Later he was completed his diploma in journalism and did a job as journalist with Zee news and All India Radio.Afer which he was active in the struggle to pass the Right to Information Act and play a key role in laying the foundation of the Jan Lokpal Movement.
Political career: He was elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly in the December 2013 Delhi Assembly election. In 2015 he was again elected for Delhi Assembly election. In 2020 he elected for Delhi legislative Assembly. Manish Sisodia is a cabinet minister in the Third Kejriwal ministry and holds the charge of departments as finance,education,tourism,vigilance etc.
Education reforms: In 2015 as Delhi’s Finance minister he took first decision that double the funding for the public education program. He reconstructed building infrastructure, modern class rooms equipped with tech-based teaching aids,football field, field hockey turfs, auditorium and science laboratory. In 2021 December he presented Mindset Curriculum ( Happyness, Entrepreneurship and Desbhakti) . He is also the writer of a book named Shiksa ” in Marathi. He also did work in Higher and TechnicalEducation.
Economic Reforms: During his time as the Finance Minister in Delhi, the government ‘a budget has more than doubled in 7 years in 2022-23. Such an increase was possible due to an increase in the tax base by ending the Raid Raj and Plugging leaks.On 26 March 2022, a budget of 75 thousand 800 crore rupees was presented in the Delhi Assembly by the finance minister Manish Sisodia. Aam Aadmi Party leaders expected that the budget would create employment for 20 lakh people in Delhi, in the upcoming 5 years.
Net worth: Manish Sisodia and his wife’s property total amount is 65 lakh. This amount is proved from government records.
Manish Sisodia’s involvement in liquor scham: The fundamental issue here is the liquor policy and how Delhi has been converted into the liquor capital of the country. The Congress demanded the resignation of Delhi Excise Minister Manish Sisodia in the light of CBI raids against him.
Raid at residence of Manish Sisodia: The CBI team reached to Manish Sisodia’s residence in the morning at 10AM in August 20 and seized his computer, mobile phone and also some files.
CBI registers case Dy CM Manish Sisodia, 15 others – The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and 15 others on charges of corruption, criminal conspiracy, falsification of accounts and undue advantage in connection with the state’s liquor policy. Besides Sisodia, who is the prime accused, the CBI booked three other public servants who were previously working in the Delhi Excise Department. Former Excise Commissioner Arva Gopi Krisna, as well as former Deputy and Assistant Commissioners Anand Tiwari and Pankaj Bhatnagar.The FIR also names 10 liquor licenses and their associates as well as unknown others on a reference from the Ministry of Home Affairs. The CBI has alleged that irregularities were committed including in the modification in the Excise policy, extending undue favours to the licenses waiver/ reduction in license fee and extension of the L-1 license without approval.
The above mentioned writings shows that Manish Sisodia uses the political power in wrong way and proves himself that where there is power there is corruption and conspiracy and also extramarital relationship but the truth can’t be hide for longer time.
